Support Groups

We have several Support Groups for parents and women with learning disabilities including our Birth Parent Group.

Our Birth Parent Group offers a safe, friendly, and welcoming space for parents who have experienced similar challenges to connect, share, and support one another. Led by our compassionate Group Facilitator, the group focuses on peer support in a non-judgmental, understanding, and caring environment - with a warm drink and a friendly catch-up always included.

As one parent shared:

"This group gives me a reason to go out and see people."

We are proud to offer this unique and vital support for birth parents with a learning disability.

The group meets every two weeks, with in-person and online options available.

WISER Life Support Group

Our WISER Life Group is our follow up peer support group for women who have completed our WISER Course - giving them the opportunity to stay connected.

WISER – Women in Safe & Empowering Relationships

WISER Life is a follow-on group for women with learning disabilities who have completed the WISER domestic abuse awareness course.

This safe, creative, and supportive space allows women to stay connected, reflect on what they’ve learned, and continue building confidence and resilience in a welcoming environment.

For many women, WISER Life offers an essential connection and a life-line - especially for those who are most vulnerable to domestic abuse.
