Plymouth Advocacy

Plymouth-Advocacy

Advocacy services help people – particularly those who are most vulnerable in society – to:

  • access information and services
  • be involved in decisions about their lives
  • explore choices and options
  • defend and promote their rights and responsibilities
  • speak out about issues that matter to them

The VIEW Project

Offers Parent Advocacy through their Volunteer Team.

Volunteer Parent Advocates can support parents at meetings within children services such as Child in Need, LAC or CIC Reviews and Early Help meetings.

All volunteers are fully trained and support parents to express their own views, understand and retain information.
