Supporting People with Learning Disabilities.
WISER is an exciting new project in the Plymouth area, working with women who have a diagnosed or undiagnosed/borderline learning disability.
WISER stands for Women in Safe and Empowering Relationships. We are looking for committed, compassionate and dedicated volunteers who wish to get involved in the forming and maintaining of a supportive community of women who have been affected by domestic abuse. We have opportunities available for those who wish to co-deliver our WISER 12-week awareness course for women, 1-1 work with women, support group facilitator opportunities as well as administrative roles.
